My Story
I have a background in design and architecture. I received my bachelors degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in Boulder. From a young age I knew that design was something that excited me. In the summer of 2023, I took part in a design-build project in Colombia through my school's program. I, along with my peers, worked with a community to design and physically build multiple small projects in their central communal area, including a small structure that would serve as their kitchen. This process ignited an interest in me, and from there on out, I became intrigued by the logistical and physical side of design projects. Over the past few years, I've developed an appreciation for the overall craftsmanship and coordination it takes to make things happen. Now, through Novus Construction, I want to pursue and further explore this side of projects that often gets overlooked by many. I believe that interning here will deepen my understanding of how our built environment works. With my background, I hope to be able to approach projects with a different perspective and a certain level of meticulousness.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I'm a cat enthusiast and try to volunteer at my local cat shelter when time permits. I also enjoy doing creative things like sewing, crocheting, and playing the piano. For me, being able to dive into creativity and art is what brings joy into my life.
