Fernando Uvina
Fernando Uviña recently graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and is joining Novus Construction as an intern. With a background in design and hands-on project experience, Fernando is passionate about the construction process and eager to grow his skills in sequencing, field coordination, and project execution.
My Story
My interest in construction started through family connections in the trades and grew stronger during my time studying architecture at the University of Colorado Denver. While I have always appreciated design, I became especially drawn to the construction side of the industry, where ideas become real, buildable spaces.

During my final semester, I had the opportunity to help design a community project in downtown Denver and participate in the build-up phase. That hands-on experience helped confirm my passion for construction methods, coordination, and bringing design intent to life in the field.

As an intern at Novus Construction, I’m excited to learn from the team, deepen my technical skills, and contribute with a strong work ethic, design background, and collaborative mindset.
